An Update!

By Camilla Garrison

A quick note from the Editor:

With the countdown to summer vacation commencing and the schoolwork slowing, the Harbor Pond Post is back in action! The last post was in August, and a lot has happened since then, I am terribly sorry for this lack of Postage but we must move on! In this post I'll catch you up. Last summer there was also a lot of confusion on how to read the HPP on Blogger with the slightly less tech inclined folks, so from now on I will be additionally be providing a photo attachment in the HPP Emails for mobile use. Since I am currently on the mainland for my education, I would like to request that I be notified by Internet of any Pond Occurrences and if any of your fellow Post readers cannot read the Post since I am not currently in in-person relations with many of them. Thank you. Let the post begin!

September Thirteenth, Camilla had her thirteenth birthday, November Twenty Third the Great American Eating Ceremony was held (see Claudia Dowling's blog) and...

On January Twentieth Twenty Twenty Four the Garrison Family brought home two new ragdoll kittens named Echo and Ember. Echo was of good size and health but Ember was skinny with a very large belly and looked just like a big white rat. Echo is a Seal Point Ragdoll and Ember is a Flame. (color & pattern)

Now, after a little while Ember seems just fine, (though now a little fat) Echo however is doing fine in health, but he needs a little human socializing since he is a very shy kitty.

Since the cats are better adjusted (just about three months home!) Camilla has high hopes of training them. She has just today acquired cat harnesses and is working  on getting them accustomed to it so that they may be leash trained and be able to go outside at least on the porch or yard. Her next feat will be teaching them to swim in the tub, but that might take a little while.
